8TH ANNUAL URBAN MUSIC AWARDS 2010

Saturday, I passed through this years Urban Music Awards at the Connaught Rooms in Holborn Central London.
After driving for more than 2.5 hours from South London (the Pope visit messed up ALL driving to West End).
I got there thinking that I missed most of the awards, but you know award shows, they always run behind...especially as EVERYONE had nightmares getting to the venue.

Shouts to Damage, Richard Blackwood, Coolio, Tinie Tempah, Levi Roots and all the other celebs in the building.

I was kinda under pressure as I was meant to leave at 10pm to get to Worcestershire to spin, so to say my time was limited was an understatement!!!

I was just about to leave when they announced the Best DJ category for which I was nominated....

I was on the phone to management complaining,'I gotta go...I don't wanna be late for my set' as they announced that I won!!!!

I had no idea that I was gonna win this award, cause it was such a strong category and I've been underground like a secret squirrel building up shit for next year...more on that another time....

I had no speech...I don't even remember what i said...
So after the 'speech' I had to bounce to get to my gig...didn't have time to get more than 2 pics from the night....Sorry!!!!!

Big up U.M.A. & more importantly, big up the VOTERS!!!!
